Umay REST is a heating and cooling eye mask, and is eligible for reimbursement under a health savings account (HSA) and/or wellness spending account. For reimbursement, REST must be recommended by your physician as medically required. This can be either through a prescription from the doctor indicating the medical condition they may have diagnosed you with OR a letter from the doctor stating that the device is medically required (and not just recommended).
Under a wellness spending (or other taxable) account, REST is still covered as an over-the-counter ergonomic eye therapy device, which provides consistent heat and cold to provide relief from symptoms associated with digital eye strain.
